Athletics at the Granite
Members of all ages can choose to play their favourite sport as an enthusiast or train hard with top professionals at the competitive level. For decades, Olympians and world champions have trained at the Club — evidenced by the inductees in the prestigious Granite Hall of Fame. Across several athletic sections, Members can enjoy lessons, ladders, multi-week programs, and social events together.
Aquatics
From learn-to-swim to aquafit
The Granite Club Aquatics Complex features two twenty-five-metre, six-lane pools for fitness swimming, as well as an activity pool and 'Tadpool' for the little ones. Year-round programming spans all ages and skill levels, including learn-to-swim programs, aquafitness, competitive teams, artistic swimming, and lifesaving. For those who prefer to relax and soak up the summer sun, the facility features a retractable roof and is surrounded by a stunning lounge deck overlooking the lush and leafy Don forest.
Badminton & Pickleball
Racquet sports for all levels
Members of all ages have the opportunity to learn badminton and pickleball from top professionals through regular programming, private or group lessons, children’s camps and special clinics. Four spacious courts are available for recreational and competitive play. Get a total-body workout on the courts and stick around after the game for a hard-earned social hour.
Curling

True to its roots, the Granite Club boasts a world-class, eight-sheet curling facility with regular programs offered for every age group; the perfect athletic setting for Members to revel in this classic team sport. Don’t forget — winners buy the first round!
Fitness & Group Exercise
Becoming your best self
Two state-of-the-art gyms feature the latest fitness machines and equipment. Personal trainers and fitness coaches provide the finest in individualized instruction and planning to help Members reach their personal goals and develop healthy lifestyles. Drop-in group exercise classes span yoga to circuits to spin across six studios, and seasonal specialty programs offer the chance to develop new strengths and skills in a wide range of disciplines.
Indoor Golf
Winter practice facility
With hitting stations, a short-game area, high-tech simulators and swing analysis — and even club-fitting and repair services — this is the ideal location for seasoned golfers to work on their game during the winter months and for new golfers to fall in love with the sport for the first time. Offering programs and individualized lessons for children and adults of all skill levels, our PGA of Canada Professionals are available to help with any aspect of your game.
Skating
Indoor and outdoor rinks
For the past century, the Granite Club has been a leader in figure skating excellence. Several World and Olympic champions have called the Granite rink their home. From the grassroots beginner level to championship form, our skating programs are developed to focus on the fitness, fun, and fundamentals of skating. Casual skate times, hockey powerskating lessons, and a seasonal outdoor skating rink are also available.
Squash
Fun, fitness, and friendship
Granite Squash offers social, instructional, and competitive programs that emphasize sportsmanship and participation. Across two double and five single squash courts, Members enjoy opportunities to improve fitness, socialize together, and compete in tournaments within an environment where players of all abilities can grow through fun, fitness, and friendship.
Tennis
Year-round play
Long a part of the Granite heritage, the game of tennis is one of our most popular sports. Our exceptional facility offers 16 courts total; a mixture of red and green clay courts and hard courts, with 12 bubbled in winter for year-round play. A variety of instructional programs are available to learn the ins and outs, in addition to house leagues, ladders, children’s camps, and social events. Top tennis professionals offer private and group lessons, from beginner to advanced.
